ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 2:2
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਿੱਛਲੀ ਰਾਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਆਏ।”

| hither in | הֵ֧נָּה | hēnnâ | HAY-na |
| to night | הַלַּ֛יְלָה | hallaylâ | ha-LA-la |
| of the children | מִבְּנֵ֥י | mibbĕnê | mee-beh-NAY |
| Israel of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| to search out | לַחְפֹּ֥ר | laḥpōr | lahk-PORE |
