ਉੱਤਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਰ ਹਾਸੋਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਬੀਨ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਮੁੱਠ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਬੀਨ ਨੇ ਮਾਦੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਬਾਬ, ਸ਼ਿਮਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਸ਼ਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਸੋਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। (ਹਾਸੋਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੇ ਸਨ।)

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਬੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਯਾਬੀਨ ਹਸੋਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਸੀਸਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਬੀਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਸੀ। ਸੀਸਰਾ ਹਰੋਸ਼ਥ ਹਾਗੋਯਿਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
