ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 10:28
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
