ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੇ ਛੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਲ ਦੇ ਮੱਟ ਸਨ। ਯਹੂਦੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਮੱਟ ਸ਼ੁੱਧੀਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹਰੇਕ ਜਲ ਮਟ ਵਿੱਚ 80 ਲੀਟਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ 120 ਲੀਟਰ ਤੱਕ ਜਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
