Jeremiah 48:35
ਰੋਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਯਸਈਆਹ 16:12
ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਿਢਾਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 48:7
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਕਮੋਸ਼ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
