וַיִּ֨מְלָךְ king va-YEEM-loke מֶ֔לֶךְ Zedekiah MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ the tseed-kee-YA-hoo בֶּן son ben יֹֽאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ of yoh-shee-YA-hoo תַּ֗חַת Josiah TA-haht כָּנְיָ֙הוּ֙ reigned kone-YA-HOO בֶּן instead ben יְה֣וֹיָקִ֔ים of yeh-HOH-ya-KEEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר Coniah uh-SHER הִמְלִ֛יךְ the heem-LEEK נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר son neh-voo-hahd-reh-TSAHR מֶֽלֶךְ of MEH-lek בָּבֶ֖ל Jehoiakim, ba-VEL בְּאֶ֥רֶץ whom beh-EH-rets יְהוּדָֽה׃ Nebuchadrezzar yeh-hoo-DA -
וְלֹ֥א neither veh-LOH שָׁמַ֛ע he, sha-MA ה֥וּא nor hoo וַעֲבָדָ֖יו his va-uh-va-DAV וְעַ֣ם servants, veh-AM הָאָ֑רֶץ nor ha-AH-rets אֶל the el דִּבְרֵ֣י people deev-RAY יְהוָ֔ה of yeh-VA אֲשֶׁ֣ר the uh-SHER דִּבֶּ֔ר land, dee-BER בְּיַ֖ד did beh-YAHD יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ hearken yeer-meh-YA-hoo הַנָּבִֽיא׃ unto ha-na-VEE -
וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ Zedekiah va-yeesh-LAHK הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ the ha-MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֜הוּ king tseed-kee-YA-hoo אֶת sent et יְהוּכַ֣ל yeh-hoo-HAHL בֶּן Jehucal ben שֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֗ה the sheh-lem-YA וְאֶת son veh-ET צְפַנְיָ֤הוּ of tseh-fahn-YA-hoo בֶן Shelemiah ven מַֽעֲשֵׂיָה֙ and ma-uh-say-YA הַכֹּהֵ֔ן Zephaniah ha-koh-HANE אֶל the el יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ son yeer-meh-YA-hoo הַנָּבִ֖יא of ha-na-VEE לֵאמֹ֑ר Maaseiah lay-MORE הִתְפַּלֶּל the heet-pa-LEL נָ֣א priest na בַעֲדֵ֔נוּ to va-uh-DAY-noo אֶל the el יְהוָ֖ה prophet yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ Jeremiah, ay-loh-HAY-noo -
וְיִרְמְיָ֕הוּ Jeremiah veh-yeer-meh-YA-hoo בָּ֥א came ba וְיֹצֵ֖א in veh-yoh-TSAY בְּת֣וֹךְ and beh-TOKE הָעָ֑ם went ha-AM וְלֹֽא out veh-LOH נָתְנ֥וּ among note-NOO אֹת֖וֹ the oh-TOH בֵּ֥ית people: bate הַכְּלֽיּא׃ for ha-KEL-y -
וְחֵ֥יל Pharaoh's veh-HALE פַּרְעֹ֖ה army pahr-OH יָצָ֣א was ya-TSA מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם come mee-meets-RA-yeem וַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּ forth va-yeesh-meh-OO הַכַּשְׂדִּ֜ים out ha-kahs-DEEM הַצָּרִ֤ים of ha-tsa-REEM עַל Egypt: al יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ and yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM אֶת when et שִׁמְעָ֔ם the sheem-AM וַיֵּ֣עָל֔וּ Chaldeans va-YAY-ah-LOO מֵעַ֖ל that may-AL יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ besieged yeh-roo-sha-loh-EEM -
וַֽיְהִי֙ came va-HEE דְּבַר the deh-VAHR יְהוָ֔ה word yeh-VA אֶל of el יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ the yeer-meh-YA-hoo הַנָּבִ֖יא Lord ha-na-VEE לֵאמֹֽר׃ unto lay-MORE -
כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַ֤ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָה֙ Lord, yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֣י the ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל God yees-ra-ALE כֹּ֚ה of koh תֹֽאמְרוּ֙ Israel; toh-meh-ROO אֶל Thus el מֶ֣לֶךְ shall MEH-lek יְהוּדָ֔ה ye yeh-hoo-DA הַשֹּׁלֵ֧חַ say ha-shoh-LAY-ak אֶתְכֶ֛ם to et-HEM אֵלַ֖י the ay-LAI לְדָרְשֵׁ֑נִי king leh-dore-SHAY-nee הִנֵּ֣ה׀ of hee-NAY חֵ֣יל Judah, hale פַּרְעֹ֗ה that pahr-OH הַיֹּצֵ֤א sent ha-yoh-TSAY לָכֶם֙ you la-HEM לְעֶזְרָ֔ה unto leh-ez-RA שָׁ֥ב me shahv לְאַרְצ֖וֹ to leh-ar-TSOH מִצְרָֽיִם׃ inquire meets-RA-yeem -
וְשָׁ֙בוּ֙ the veh-SHA-VOO הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים Chaldeans ha-kahs-DEEM וְנִלְחֲמ֖וּ shall veh-neel-huh-MOO עַל come al הָעִ֣יר again, ha-EER הַזֹּ֑את and ha-ZOTE וּלְכָדֻ֖הָ fight oo-leh-ha-DOO-ha וּשְׂרָפֻ֥הָ against oo-seh-ra-FOO-ha בָאֵֽשׁ׃ this va-AYSH -
כֹּ֣ה׀ saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֗ה Lord; yeh-VA אַל Deceive al תַּשִּׁ֤אוּ not ta-SHEE-oo נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם֙ yourselves, nahf-shoh-tay-HEM לֵאמֹ֔ר saying, lay-MORE הָלֹ֛ךְ The ha-LOKE יֵלְכ֥וּ Chaldeans yay-leh-HOO מֵעָלֵ֖ינוּ shall may-ah-LAY-noo הַכַּשְׂדִּ֑ים surely ha-kahs-DEEM כִּי depart kee לֹ֖א from loh יֵלֵֽכוּ׃ us: yay-lay-HOO -
כִּ֣י though kee אִם ye eem הִכִּיתֶ֞ם had hee-kee-TEM כָּל smitten kahl חֵ֤יל the hale כַּשְׂדִּים֙ whole kahs-DEEM הַנִּלְחָמִ֣ים army ha-neel-ha-MEEM אִתְּכֶ֔ם of ee-teh-HEM וְנִ֨שְׁאֲרוּ the veh-NEESH-uh-roo בָ֔ם Chaldeans vahm אֲנָשִׁ֖ים that uh-na-SHEEM מְדֻקָּרִ֑ים fight meh-doo-ka-REEM אִ֤ישׁ against eesh בְּאָהֳלוֹ֙ you, beh-ah-hoh-LOH יָק֔וּמוּ and ya-KOO-moo וְשָֽׂרְפ֛וּ there veh-sa-reh-FOO אֶת remained et הָעִ֥יר but ha-EER הַזֹּ֖את wounded ha-ZOTE בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ men ba-AYSH -
וְהָיָ֗ה it veh-ha-YA בְּהֵֽעָלוֹת֙ came beh-hay-ah-LOTE חֵ֣יל to hale הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים pass, ha-kahs-DEEM מֵעַ֖ל that may-AL יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם when yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM מִפְּנֵ֖י the mee-peh-NAY חֵ֥יל army hale פַּרְעֹֽה׃ of pahr-OH -
וַיֵּצֵ֤א Jeremiah va-yay-TSAY יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ went yeer-meh-YA-HOO מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם forth mee-ROO-sha-la-EEM לָלֶ֖כֶת out la-LEH-het אֶ֣רֶץ of EH-rets בִּנְיָמִ֑ן Jerusalem been-ya-MEEN לַחֲלִ֥ק to la-huh-LEEK מִשָּׁ֖ם go mee-SHAHM בְּת֥וֹךְ into beh-TOKE הָעָֽם׃ the ha-AM -
וַיְהִי when vai-HEE ה֞וּא he hoo בְּשַׁ֣עַר was beh-SHA-ar בִּנְיָמִ֗ן in been-ya-MEEN וְשָׁם֙ the veh-SHAHM בַּ֣עַל gate BA-al פְּקִדֻ֔ת of peh-kee-DOOT וּשְׁמוֹ֙ Benjamin, oo-sheh-MOH יִרְאִיָּ֔יה a yeer-ee-YAI בֶּן captain ben שֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֖ה of sheh-lem-YA בֶּן the ben חֲנַנְיָ֑ה ward huh-nahn-YA וַיִּתְפֹּ֞שׂ was va-yeet-POSE אֶֽת there, et יִרְמְיָ֤הוּ whose yeer-meh-YA-hoo הַנָּבִיא֙ name ha-na-VEE לֵאמֹ֔ר was lay-MORE אֶל Irijah, el הַכַּשְׂדִּ֖ים the ha-kahs-DEEM אַתָּ֥ה son ah-TA נֹפֵֽל׃ of noh-FALE -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said va-YOH-mer יִרְמְיָ֜הוּ Jeremiah, yeer-meh-YA-hoo שֶׁ֗קֶר It SHEH-ker אֵינֶ֤נִּי is ay-NEH-nee נֹפֵל֙ false; noh-FALE עַל I al הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים fall ha-kahs-DEEM וְלֹ֥א not veh-LOH שָׁמַ֖ע away sha-MA אֵלָ֑יו to ay-LAV וַיִּתְפֹּ֤שׂ the va-yeet-POSE יִרְאִיָּיה֙ Chaldeans. yeer-ee-YAI בְּיִרְמְיָ֔הוּ But beh-yeer-meh-YA-hoo וַיְבִאֵ֖הוּ he vai-vee-A-hoo אֶל hearkened el הַשָּׂרִֽים׃ not ha-sa-REEM -
וַיִּקְצְפ֧וּ the va-yeek-tseh-FOO הַשָּׂרִ֛ים princes ha-sa-REEM עַֽל were al יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ wroth yeer-meh-YA-hoo וְהִכּ֣וּ with veh-HEE-koo אֹת֑וֹ Jeremiah, oh-TOH וְנָתְנ֨וּ and veh-note-NOO אוֹת֜וֹ smote oh-TOH בֵּ֣ית him, bate הָאֵס֗וּר and ha-ay-SOOR בֵּ֚ית put bate יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן him yeh-hoh-na-TAHN הַסֹּפֵ֔ר in ha-soh-FARE כִּֽי prison kee אֹת֥וֹ oh-TOH עָשׂ֖וּ in ah-SOO לְבֵ֥ית the leh-VATE הַכֶּֽלֶא׃ house ha-KEH-leh -
כִּ֣י Jeremiah kee בָ֧א was va יִרְמְיָ֛הוּ entered yeer-meh-YA-hoo אֶל into el בֵּ֥ית the bate הַבּ֖וֹר dungeon, HA-bore וְאֶל veh-EL הַֽחֲנֻ֑יוֹת and ha-huh-NOO-yote וַיֵּֽשֶׁב into va-YAY-shev שָׁ֥ם the shahm יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ cabins, yeer-meh-YA-hoo יָמִ֥ים and ya-MEEM רַבִּֽים׃ Jeremiah ra-BEEM -
וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ Zedekiah va-yeesh-LAHK הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ the ha-MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֜הוּ king tseed-kee-YA-hoo וַיִּקָּחֵ֗הוּ sent, va-yee-ka-HAY-hoo וַיִּשְׁאָלֵ֨הוּ and va-yeesh-ah-LAY-hoo הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ took ha-MEH-lek בְּבֵיתוֹ֙ him beh-vay-TOH בַּסֵּ֔תֶר out: ba-SAY-ter וַיֹּ֕אמֶר and va-YOH-mer הֲיֵ֥שׁ the huh-YAYSH דָּבָ֖ר king da-VAHR מֵאֵ֣ת asked may-ATE יְהוָ֑ה him yeh-VA וַיֹּ֤אמֶר secretly va-YOH-mer יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ in yeer-meh-YA-HOO יֵ֔שׁ his yaysh וַיֹּ֕אמֶר house, va-YOH-mer בְּיַ֥ד and beh-YAHD מֶֽלֶךְ said, MEH-lek בָּבֶ֖ל Is ba-VEL תִּנָּתֵֽן׃ there tee-na-TANE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Jeremiah va-YOH-mer יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ said yeer-meh-YA-hoo אֶל unto el הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ king ha-MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֑הוּ Zedekiah, tseed-kee-YA-hoo מֶה֩ What meh חָטָ֨אתִֽי have ha-TA-tee לְךָ֤ I leh-HA וְלַעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ offended veh-la-uh-va-DAY-HA וְלָעָ֣ם against veh-la-AM הַזֶּ֔ה thee, ha-ZEH כִּֽי or kee נְתַתֶּ֥ם against neh-ta-TEM אוֹתִ֖י thy oh-TEE אֶל servants, el בֵּ֥ית or bate הַכֶּֽלֶא׃ against ha-KEH-leh -
וְאַיֵּו֙ are veh-ah-YAVE נְבִ֣יאֵיכֶ֔ם now neh-VEE-ay-HEM אֲשֶׁר your uh-SHER נִבְּא֥וּ prophets nee-beh-OO לָכֶ֖ם which la-HEM לֵאמֹ֑ר prophesied lay-MORE לֹֽא unto loh יָבֹ֤א you, ya-VOH מֶֽלֶךְ saying, MEH-lek בָּבֶל֙ The ba-VEL עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם king uh-lay-HEM וְעַ֖ל of veh-AL הָאָ֥רֶץ Babylon ha-AH-rets הַזֹּֽאת׃ shall ha-ZOTE -
וְעַתָּ֕ה hear veh-ah-TA שְֽׁמַֽע now, SHEH-MA נָ֖א I na אֲדֹנִ֣י pray uh-doh-NEE הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ thee, ha-MEH-lek תִּפָּל O tee-PAHL נָ֤א my na תְחִנָּתִי֙ lord teh-hee-na-TEE לְפָנֶ֔יךָ the leh-fa-NAY-ha וְאַל king: veh-AL תְּשִׁבֵ֗נִי let teh-shee-VAY-nee בֵּ֚ית my bate יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן supplication, yeh-hoh-na-TAHN הַסֹּפֵ֔ר I ha-soh-FARE וְלֹ֥א pray veh-LOH אָמ֖וּת thee, ah-MOOT שָֽׁם׃ be shahm -
וַיְצַוֶּ֞ה Zedekiah vai-tsa-WEH הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ the ha-MEH-lek צִדְקִיָּ֗הוּ king tseed-kee-YA-hoo וַיַּפְקִ֣דוּ commanded va-yahf-KEE-doo אֶֽת that et יִרְמְיָהוּ֮ they yeer-meh-ya-HOO בַּחֲצַ֣ר should ba-huh-TSAHR הַמַּטָּרָה֒ commit ha-ma-ta-RA וְנָתֹן֩ veh-na-TONE ל֨וֹ Jeremiah loh כִכַּר into hee-KAHR לֶ֤חֶם the LEH-hem לַיּוֹם֙ court la-YOME מִח֣וּץ of mee-HOOTS הָאֹפִ֔ים the ha-oh-FEEM עַד prison, ad תֹּ֥ם and tome כָּל that kahl הַלֶּ֖חֶם they ha-LEH-hem מִן should meen הָעִ֑יר give ha-EER וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב him va-YAY-shev יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ daily yeer-meh-YA-hoo בַּחֲצַ֖ר a ba-huh-TSAHR הַמַּטָּרָֽה׃ piece ha-ma-ta-RA
