Genesis 37:15
ਸ਼ਕਮ ਜਾਕੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਰਾਹ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਿਆ। ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਟਕਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਭਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?”

ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਬਾਰਾਕ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਯਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਯਾਏਲ ਬਾਰਾਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅੰਦਰ ਲੰਘ ਆਓ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਰਾਕ ਯਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉੱਥੇ ਬਾਰਾਕ ਨੇ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਰਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਦੇਖਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਿੱਲੀ ਧਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ, ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਭੋਜਨ ਪਾਣੀ ਲਿਆ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਹਾਜਰਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ। ਹਾਜਰਾ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਏਰਸਬਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਲਗੀ।

ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਸੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਏ ਹੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਆਓ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ!” ਤਾਂ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।

ਐਨ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਤ ਆਏ ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ?” “ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?”

ਯਿਸੂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਯਿਸੂ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਂ?”

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ?” ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਨਾਸਰਤ ਦੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ।”

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਔਰਤ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਰੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ?” ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਗ ਦਾ ਮਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਨਾਬ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂ।”
