ਹਿਜ਼ ਕੀ ਐਲ 7:24
ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਕਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਲੰਕਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| their houses: | בָּֽתֵּיהֶ֑ם | bāttêhem | ba-tay-HEM |
| pomp the make also will I | וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ | wĕhišbattiy | veh-heesh-ba-TEE |
| of the strong | גְּא֣וֹן | gĕʾôn | ɡeh-ONE |
| cease; to | עַזִּ֔ים | ʿazzîm | ah-ZEEM |
| and their holy places | וְנִחֲל֖וּ | wĕniḥălû | veh-nee-huh-LOO |
| shall be defiled. | מְקַֽדְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ | mĕqadšêhem | meh-KAHD-shay-HEM |
