Ezekiel 7:13
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਵੇਚੀ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਵੀ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੀੜ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਬਚਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਵੀ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਬਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਯੁੱਧ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

“‘ਨਬੀਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਝੂਠ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ-ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹਿਆ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ!

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਵਾਂਢੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕਦੀ!’
