ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ!’” ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਧੂਹ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਦਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਧਰਤ ਉੱਤੇ। ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ। ਆਉਣ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ। ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਉਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਜਕੇ ਖਾਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ।
