Ezekiel 34:22
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਭੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਭੇਡ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

ਉਹ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਯਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਅਯਾਲੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਖਿੰਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ-ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਾਂ! ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ! ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਜੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ! ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਜੜੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।”

ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਤਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਬਣਿਆ। ਮੈ ਦੋ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਲਈਆਂ, ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ‘ਮਿਹਰ’ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਨੂੰ “ਏਕਤਾ” ਕਿਹਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
