ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੀ। ਤੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਂ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਮੂਰੀ ਸੀ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਦਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ-ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਪ ਉਸ ਭਾਰੇ ਵਜ਼ਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵ੍ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਨਬੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਗੱਪਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਢੀਠ, ਹੰਕਾਰੀ, ਸ਼ੇਖੀਬਾਜ਼, ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਦਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਿੱਤ ਨਵੇਂ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਈਜਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੇਸਵਾਈ ਦਾ ਵਜਨ ਕਾਫੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

Jerusalem, the Unfaithful Bride ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੇਕ ਨਾਮੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ!

ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਸੈਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਨੰਗੇਜ਼ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ।’” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 12:31
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਓਸੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ! ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਾੜਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 5:9
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਬੁੱਤ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੜਪੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
