Ezekiel 12:28
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ!’” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 44:28
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੋੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਚ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ।

“ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਣਗੇ। ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਕਹਿਣਗੇ: ‘ਛੇਤੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।’

ਹਰ ਵਕਤ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ “ਸਚੇਤ ਰਹੋ! ਅਸੱਭਿਅਤ ਦਾਅਵਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ, ਪੀਣ ਬਾਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਹੀ ਸੋਚਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਅੰਤ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵੇਗਾ।

ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੰਬੜੇ ਰਹੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲੋ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੋਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ।
