Ezekiel 1:8
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਸਨ। ਓੱਥੇ ਚਾਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਖੰਭ ਸਨ। ਖੰਭ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਛੁੰਹਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹਿਲਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਹਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਸਨ, ਚਾਰ ਖੰਭ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਗਨੀ ਸੀ। ਸਰਾਫ਼ੀਮ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਘਦੇ ਕੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ ਚਿਮਟੇ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿਮਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਘਦੇ ਕੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜੀ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਉਡਿਆ।

ਪਹੀਏ ਹਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਹਿੱਲ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਚੱਲਣ ਸਮੇਂ, ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ!

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇਖੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਵਰਗੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਬਾਂਹ ਅਗੇ ਵੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਵਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੱਕ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ-ਉਹ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਬੁੱਤ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਈਰਖਾਲੂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤਖਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਤਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਤਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪਹੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਦਮ ਰੱਖ। ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਬਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੁੱਠੀ ਭਰ ਕੋਲੇ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇ।” ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਿਆ।

ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਵੱਧਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਮਘਦੇ ਕੋਲੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੋਲੇ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਿਲਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਹਿਲਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਧਰ ਸਿਰ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਿਲਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠੀ, ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰੁਕ ਗਈ।
