“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖੀਂ; ‘ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਬੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਾਂ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਧੀ: ‘ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।’” ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਸਾਜੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੰਝ ਆਖਿਆ।

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 32:41

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਚਮਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਜੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
