Exodus 11:10
ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਛੱਡਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਮਿਸਰ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਦਿਖਾਉਣੇ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੀਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 10:20
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਓਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 2:30
“ਪਰ ਸੀਹੋਨ, ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੰਘਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਸੱਕੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੜ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਖਾਧੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 2:4
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੜੇ ਸਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ, ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 9:22
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਵਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕਣ। ਪਰੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
