Ecclesiastes 9:2

ਇਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ: ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ਼ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਓਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਖੀਰੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਅੰਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਈਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।

ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ‘ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੋ ਗੱਲ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗਾਨੀਆਂ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।’

ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਰਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਉਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਉਸ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਸ਼ਮਦੀਦ ਗਵਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ, ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਦੂਰੀ ਨਾ ਦੇਕੇ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਯਾਤੀਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੋਕ ਭੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਕਹੇ।
ਮਲਾਕੀ 3:15
ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਘਮਂਡੀ ਲੋਕ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਦ ਲੋਕ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਬਰ ਦਾ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ।”

ਤਦ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਸ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਰਾਪ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੱਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਾਪ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਾਪ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁੱਕਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇੱਕ ਪਾਪੀ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸੌ ਬੁਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ, ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਿਰ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ। ਤਾਂ ਵੀ, ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਖਾਸੱਕਰ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦਾਅਵਤ ਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮਈਅਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇੰਝ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਾਲੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ।

ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਦੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ 2,000 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਣਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਖਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ।

ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣਪ, ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 21:7
ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਲੰਮਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ? ਉਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਿਰਧ ਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ?

ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ।

ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਕੁੜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਚਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ।”

ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰੇਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਚਨ ਦੇ, ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਲਵੇਂਗਾ।
