ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰੀਬ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 5:14
ਪਰ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਨਮਾਣ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ-ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਧੀਆਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ, ਖੋਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ! ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 7:8
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ, ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਪਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਨੇਕੀ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਖਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਸੁਣੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹੀ ਉਹ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸੱਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ; ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ; ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
