Acts 28:18
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਜਹ ਨਾ ਲੱਭੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵਾਂ? ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਨਾ ਭਵਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਕੇ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੰਝ ਰੌਲਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੀ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ-ਬਾਤ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਅਸਲੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਜਾਨਣ ਲਈ, ਕਿ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਕਿਉਂ ਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਸਦੱਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਬੈਠਕ ਬੁਲਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਉੱਥੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ; ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੁਦ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਾਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਦਾਵ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਜਾਂ ਕੈਦ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 24:10
ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਸਫ਼ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 24:22
ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਲਿਸਿਯਾਸ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।”
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 25:7
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਉਸ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਈ ਤਕੜੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਾਏ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ।
