Acts 24:22
ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਲਿਸਿਯਾਸ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ।”

ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਸਫ਼ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 24:14
“ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਵੀਕਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ, ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ, ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 24:24
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ-ਬਾਤ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਦਰੂਸਿੱਲਾ, ਨਾਲ ਖੁਦ ਆਇਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੂਦਣ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਵਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ।

ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰ, ਰਾਜਾ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ। ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਲ ਜਵਾਬ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਕੈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਲਿਖ ਸੱਕਾਂ।

ਮੈਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਰਿਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਬਹਿਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ।
