Proverbs 14:20
ਇੱਕ ਗਰੀਬ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਪਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਦੋਸਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਦੋਸਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਹੁਣ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਝੁਕੱ ਕੇ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਮਾਰਦਕਈ ਨੇ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਗਿਆ। ਤਦ ਹਾਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਆਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਜ਼ਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਹ੍ਹੀ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 6:21
ਹੁਣ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੀ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੇ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ।

“ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਜਨਬੀ ਹਾਂ।

ਉਹ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਖਲੋਂਦੇ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਸੋਚਨੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਨੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁਕੱਣੋਁ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੁਕਦੇ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 10:15
ਦੌਲਤ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਗਰੀਬ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਜੋ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
