Isaiah 5:27
ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਕਦੇ ਬਕੱਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਡਿਗਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਉਣੀਁਦਰਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੌਁਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਬਿਆਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਬਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਸਮੇ ਕਦੇ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਵਚ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਦੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਡਟਕੇ ਖਲੋ ਸੱਕੋਂਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਰ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 5:6
ਰਾਜਾ ਬੇਲਸ਼ੱਸਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਗ੍ਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਕੰਬਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ। ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਇੰਨੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ! ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ, ਖੋਰੁਸ, ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। “ਮੈਂ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 93:1

ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਸਰੂਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀਆਂ, ਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਬਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਮਾਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਂਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਦੇ ਧੱਬੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਉਸਦੀ ਪੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੂਟਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 32:25
ਸੜਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਗੱਬਰੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਜੁਆਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਢਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
