ਪਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਰੇਕਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਬਆਨਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜੀਅ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
