ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਚੁੱਪ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਆਖਣਾ।”

ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ, ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਨੂੰ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ, ਮੈਥੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਘਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।”
ਅਮਸਾਲ 9:7
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਜੋ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਿੱਚਰ ਕਰਦਾ, ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੰਝ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਦਾ, ਉਹ ਸੱਟ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 26:4
ਇਹ ਬੜੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਹੈ: ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੂਰਖ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮੂਰੱਖਤਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰੱਖਤਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੀ ਜਾਪੋਂਗੇ; ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰੱਖਤਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੋ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਸਮਝੇਗਾ।
ਆਮੋਸ 5:13
ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਚੁੱਪ ਸਾਧ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਬੁਰਾ ਹੈ।
