ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਤਦ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਉਸਦੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਹੁਣ ਸਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਮਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਕੋਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ 450 ਨਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੇਰਾਹ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇ 400 ਨਬੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਈਜ਼ਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬੁਲਾ।”

ਤਾਂ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਮੁੜ ਬੋਲਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਬੀ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੇ 450 ਨਬੀ ਹਨ।

ਤਦ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਬਆਲ ਦੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵੋ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨੱਸੇ ਨਾ!” ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ। ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਸ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲੈ ਜਾਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।

ਯਹੋਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੈੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਵਰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥੰਮ ਤੋਂ ਖਹਿੜਾ ਛੁਡਵਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਬਆਲ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 13:7
ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲੋਁਗੇ? ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਝੂਠ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 3:8
ਇਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਖਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਕਰੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਚੰਗਿਆਈ ਆਵੇ।” ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਕੇ ਨਿੰਦਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਝੂਠ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿਓ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੀਆਂ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯੋਗ, ਸਹੀ, ਸ਼ੁੱਧ, ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚੋ ਜੋ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ।
