ਫ਼ਿਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਬੱਕਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲਈ ਸਨ। ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਰੱਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਖਸ਼ਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ।
