ਅਹਜ਼ਆਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਰਾਮ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਮੋਥ-ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸੇ ਵਕਤ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਖੋਹਿਆ ਸੀ! ਭਲਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਬੈਠੀਏ? ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਈਏ। ਇਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਹੀ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਤਦ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੰਮਿਸਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਲੀ ਊਠ ਕਰਨੇ ਪਏ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਰੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ?”

ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਦਿਆਂ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੱਟੜ ਹੋਣਾ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੱਟੜ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਮੋਥ-ਗਿਲਆਦ ਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇਂਗਾ?” ਅਹਾਬ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ। ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਉਵੇਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ। ਸੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ।”

ਜਦੋਂ ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ, ਇਹ ਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਵੱਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਮੁੜੇ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਹਾਣਾ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 19:2
ਤਦ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 1:1
ਭਾਗ (ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 1-41) ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਲਾਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਲਦਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 5:22
“ਪਰ ਬੇਲਸ਼ੱਸਰ, ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ! ਤੂੰ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ। ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
ਮੀਕਾਹ 6:16
ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਓਮਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਉਜੜਿਆ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਟੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਸਹਾਰੋਗੇ।
