ਜਦੋਂ ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ, ਇਹ ਹੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਵੱਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਮੁੜੇ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਹਾਣਾ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਤੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਦੋਨੋ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਤਦ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਈਆਂ।
੨ ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ 1:9
ਅਸੀਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਚ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕੀਏ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਵਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 21:1
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਜਣ ਲਈ ਛੋਟੇ ਖਾਲ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਹੋ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਧਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ, ਲੈ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 16:7
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 118:13

ਅਜ਼ਰਾ 1:1
ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਘੱਲਣ ’ਚ ਮਦਦ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਫਾਰਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਐਲਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਤ ਰੂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਵਾਇਆ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋ ਉਚ੍ਚਰਿਆ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਇਉਂ ਸੀ:

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਰਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਗੂਰ ਬਆਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਊਨੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਆਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਸੋ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖੀਂ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਾ ਉੱਠਣ ਦੇਵੀਂ।”
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 14:10
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਬਰਾ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ, ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ, ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ।
