ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਉਂ ਸੀ: ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ, ਇਉਂ ਸਨ: ਅਦਨਾਹ 3,00,000ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਨਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂੜ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਲੋਕੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 15:5
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ। ਇਹ ਇੰਨੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

“ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰ ਲੈ। ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਕੱਠਿਆ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। 20 ਸਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਵਡੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 11:1
ਜਦ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 1,80,000 ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਉਣ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 13:3
ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ 4,00,000 ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰਿਆ। ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ 8,00,000 ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਆਸਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 3,00,000 ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 2,80,000 ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ’ਚ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤਕੜੇ ਵੀਰ ਯੋਧੇ ਸਨ।

ਉਹ ਪਿਤਰੀ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ 3,07,500 ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੜੀ ਸੂਰਬੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
