ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਖਬਰ ਭੇਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਤਰਕ ਰਹੋ। ਉਸ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲੁਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।”

ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਹਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।’”

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਵਾਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਜੀ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ।

ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਗੇਹਾਜੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਇਆ, ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ, ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਨ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਖਬਰ ਛੁਪਾਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ।”

ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨਬੀ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।”
ਆਮੋਸ 3:7
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਲੈ ਲਵੇ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ, ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 1:1
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਇਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦਰਸ਼ਾ ਸੱਕੇ ਕਿ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਲਿਆ।
