ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ, ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾ ਸੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
