ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਦਾਅਵਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਇਉਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਭਾ ਸੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਾਥ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਤੀਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਸ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਖੂਬ ਖਾਧਾ, ਪੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਮੌਜ ਮਨਾਈ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਠਹਿਰੇ। ਇਉਂ ਕੁਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 14 ਦਿਨ ਉਤਸਵ ਮਨਾਇਆ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਲਈ ਹੇਰੋਦਿਯਾਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਦੋਂ ਸਹੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਾਵਤ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਉਂਤਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ। ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੋਂ ’ਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ, ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ, ਤੇ ਚਰਬੀ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਲਈ ਥਾਂ ਘੱਟ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਦਾਤ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਸੀ।

ਤਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ 22,000 ਬਲਦ ਅਤੇ 1,20,000 ਭੇਡਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ। ਇਉਂ, ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ।

ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ।

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਿੰਨਾ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਵਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਦਾਵਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਬਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
