ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੇਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ।

ਤਦ ਅਹੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਲਬਾਦੇ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਰੱਖ ਲੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਉਂ ਫ਼ੁਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ 10 ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 11:6
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਦਾ ਰਹੱਸ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪਾਸੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਅੱਯੂਬ ਸੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਓਨੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।”

ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੌਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਸੱਕਣ। ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਓ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਕੀਨ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
ਹਬਕੋਕ 3:2
ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਖਬਰਾਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਅਤੀਤ ’ਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਾਂ। ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦੇ। ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਵੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੀਂ।
