1 Corinthians 15:21
ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੁਰਦੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵੱਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 5:12
ਆਦਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਪ ਆਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਮੌਤ ਆਈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੌਤ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਭਨਾ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਆਦਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ।
