ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਦਾਊਦ, ਇਸ ਵਾਰ, ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਮੈਂਹਦੀ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੁਕ ਜਾਵੀਂ।
