ਬਆਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਬਏਰਾਹ। ਬਏਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਿਲਗਥ-ਪਿਲਨਅਸਰ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਬਥਰਾਹ ਰਊਬੇਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ।

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਪਕਹ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਿਗਲਥ ਪਿਲਸਰ ਨੇ ਆਕੇ ਈਯੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਬੇਲ-ਬੈਤ-ਮਆਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਨੋਆਹ, ਕਦਸ਼, ਹਾਸੋਰ, ਗਿਲਆਦ, ਗਾਲੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਿਗਲਥ ਪਿਲਸਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।

ਤਦ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਿਗਲਥ ਪਿਲਸਰ ਕੋਲ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਭੇਜੇ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਿਆਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਆਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਅ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਆਏ ਹਨ।”

ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਿਗਲਥ-ਪਿਲਨਾਸਰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ।
