Numbers 5:22
ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੀਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜੰਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।’ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ।’

| into thy bowels, | בְּֽמֵעַ֔יִךְ | bĕmēʿayik | beh-may-AH-yeek |
| belly thy make to | לַצְבּ֥וֹת | laṣbôt | lahts-BOTE |
| to swell, | בֶּ֖טֶן | beṭen | BEH-ten |
| and thy thigh | וְלַנְפִּ֣ל | wĕlanpil | veh-lahn-PEEL |
| rot: to | יָרֵ֑ךְ | yārēk | ya-RAKE |
| And the woman | וְאָֽמְרָ֥ה | wĕʾāmĕrâ | veh-ah-meh-RA |
| shall say, | הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| Amen, | אָמֵ֥ן׀ | ʾāmēn | ah-MANE |
| amen. | אָמֵֽן׃ | ʾāmēn | ah-MANE |
