Numbers 3:13

Exodus 13:2
“ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਉਹ ਨਰ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
Leviticus 27:26
ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ “ਲੋਕ ਗ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦੇ।
Exodus 13:15
ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।) ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਦਾ ਹਾਂ।’

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਹੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੌਣ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੋਂਗੇ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
Numbers 18:15
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਸੇ ਔਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Numbers 8:16
ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
Exodus 34:19
“ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਨਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਵੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਜਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ।
Exodus 22:29

Exodus 12:29
ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਕੈਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੱਕ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਵੀ ਮਰ ਗਏ।
