Numbers 22:20
ਉਸ ਰਾਤ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਾਂ।”

ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਪਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹੀਂ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੋਲੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਾਂ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲਾਕ ਨੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ।

Psalm 81:12

Psalm 33:10
ਉਹ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਹਾਸ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਨਹੀਂ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ’ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ!
1 Samuel 8:5
ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਹੀ ਮਾਰਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਕਦਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਸੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਬਾਕੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ।”
Numbers 23:16
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਆਖਣਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲਾਕ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ।
Numbers 23:5
ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਬਾਲਾਕ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲਈ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
