Numbers 21:7
ਲੋਕ ਮੂਸਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਹਟਾ ਲਵੇ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

| we have spoken | דִבַּ֤רְנוּ | dibbarnû | dee-BAHR-noo |
| Lord, the against | בַֽיהוָה֙ | bayhwāh | vai-VA |
| pray thee; against and | וָבָ֔ךְ | wābāk | va-VAHK |
| unto | הִתְפַּלֵּל֙ | hitpallēl | heet-pa-LALE |
| the Lord, | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| away take he that | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| וְיָסֵ֥ר | wĕyāsēr | veh-ya-SARE | |
| serpents the | מֵֽעָלֵ֖ינוּ | mēʿālênû | may-ah-LAY-noo |
| from | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| us. And Moses | הַנָּחָ֑שׁ | hannāḥāš | ha-na-HAHSH |
| prayed | וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֥ל | wayyitpallēl | va-yeet-pa-LALE |
