ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਸ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹੀ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸੀਹੋਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।”

Deuteronomy 7:24
