Numbers 18:26
“ਲੇਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ: ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਲੇਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਦਸਵਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

| of Israel | יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |

| tithes the | הַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֗ר | hammaʿăśēr | ha-ma-uh-SARE |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I have given | נָתַ֧תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| from you | לָכֶ֛ם | lākem | la-HEM |
| them for your inheritance, | מֵֽאִתָּ֖ם | mēʾittām | may-ee-TAHM |
| up offer shall ye then | בְּנַֽחֲלַתְכֶ֑ם | bĕnaḥălatkem | beh-na-huh-laht-HEM |
| offering heave an | וַהֲרֵֽמֹתֶ֤ם | wahărēmōtem | va-huh-ray-moh-TEM |
| of | מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ | mimmennû | mee-MEH-NOO |
| it for the Lord, | תְּרוּמַ֣ת | tĕrûmat | teh-roo-MAHT |
| tenth a even | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| part of | מַֽעֲשֵׂ֖ר | maʿăśēr | ma-uh-SARE |
