Numbers 14:35
“ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਰਨਗੇ।”

| evil | הָֽרָעָה֙ | hārāʿāh | ha-ra-AH |
| congregation, | הַזֹּ֔את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| together gathered are that | הַנּֽוֹעָדִ֖ים | hannôʿādîm | ha-noh-ah-DEEM |
| against | עָלָ֑י | ʿālāy | ah-LAI |
| me: in this | בַּמִּדְבָּ֥ר | bammidbār | ba-meed-BAHR |
| wilderness | הַזֶּ֛ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| consumed, be shall they | יִתַּ֖מּוּ | yittammû | yee-TA-moo |
| and there | וְשָׁ֥ם | wĕšām | veh-SHAHM |
| they shall die. | יָמֻֽתוּ׃ | yāmutû | ya-moo-TOO |
