Nehemiah 5:15
ਪਰ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਚਲਾਇਆ, ਓਬੋਁ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੁਭ੍ਭਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਉਂਡ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਅ ਵੀ ਲਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਉਣਾ ਦੁਭ੍ਭਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਭੈ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
