Nehemiah 3:3
ਹੱਸਨਾਆਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੱਛੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਤੀਰ ਪਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਚਿਟਕਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਏ ਲਗਾਏ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ: ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੱਕ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੱਛੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਨੂੰ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਓਬੋਁ ਉਹ ਹਨਨੇਲ ਦੇ ਬੁਰਜ ਤੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਕੜੇ ਦੇ ਬੁਰਜ ਤੀਕ ਗਏ। ਇੰਝ, ਉਹ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਦੂਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਰੁਕੇ।

ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਆਸਾਫ ਲਈ ਮਿਲੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਜੰਗਲ ਦਾ ਰੱਖਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਲਈ, ਨਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਕੜ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਜੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੋਵਾਂ।” ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਗਿਆ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੂ ਸੀ।
Zephaniah 1:10
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਛੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਆਵੇਗੀ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੀਤਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਟਿਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਾਤਕ ਧੁਨੀਆਂ ਸੁਨਣਗੇ।

ਯੋਯਾਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਸ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯੋਯਾਦਾ ਪਾਸੇਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਸ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਸੋਦਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਤੀਰ ਟਿਕਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਲਗਾਏ। ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਰਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਿਟਕਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਏ ਲਾਏ।
Nehemiah 6:1
ਹੋਰ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਨਬੱਲਟ, ਟੋਬੀਯਾਹ, ਗਸ਼ਮ ਅਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਧ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵਿੱਬ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਜੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਏ ਸਨ।
Nehemiah 7:1
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੰਧ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਲਾਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗਵਈਏ, ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
