Nehemiah 13:2
ਇਹ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Numbers 23:8
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
