Nehemiah 1:4
ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੰਝ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਸੋਗ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖੇ।

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਠੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ। ਵਕਤ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਚੋਲਾ ਪਾਢ਼ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਾੜੀ ਚੋ ਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਮੈਂ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁਂਜੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।

1 Samuel 4:17
