ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਖੋਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਕੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਮਹਿਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ, ਖੋਰੁਸ, ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। “ਮੈਂ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੋਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਅੱਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉਤਲੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
