ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਰੰਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਉਸ ਅਧਰੰਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ! ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਰੱਖ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ ਹੋਏ।”
