ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰੱਬਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਨਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ।
